SALT LAKE CITY (August 19, 2014) - Wavelink, a business unit of LANDESK, today announced the release of new features to Wavelink Terminal Emulation (TE) for Android and iOS operating systems that expands usability around the globe and across workflows.

A staple for enterprise mobility deployments, Wavelink TE increases productivity by making it easy to connect to and interact with server-based supply chain management systems. The following updates to the Wavelink TE clients for Android and iOS provide added flexibility and support to users:
- Customizable keyboards. Create custom keyboards using the WYSIWYG keyboard editor, placing the keys users access most frequently up front. This is particularly relevant for Android and iOS smartphones and tablets, which often don't include physical keypads.
- Multi-session support. As workers often have to multi-task, Wavelink TE allows workers to keep multiple instances connected simultaneously with multi-session support.
- Localization for 10 languages. Users now have a wider selection of languages to choose from. Languages include Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Korean, Thai and Brazilian Portuguese, in addition to English, French, German and Spanish.
These enhancements, along with the introduction of variable-based profiles for both host systems and users, demonstrate Wavelink's continued investment in its industry-leading TE clients.
