Remote Control Downloads (Remote Help Desk Support)

There are 2 versions of Remote Control. Avalanche Remote Control and Wavelink Smart Device Remote Control. Avalanche Remote Control is for Windows Mobile and Windows CE device; Smart Device Remote Control supports Android and other Windows platforms. Please ensure that you download the correct version for your needs

Avalanche RC Instructions:
Download: To download click the file link below. From the dialog that appears select the "Save As..." option and save the file to disk.

Install:

  1. Before installation please review this products User Guide available for download below. Please note that installing this product on your system may override previous version installations.
  2. To install, download the package and install it in Avalanche. Enable the package, then update your Avalanche clients to install the client-side component.
Avalanche RC Licensing:
Remote Control 2.0 requires the 1.0.15 Wavelink License Server below. Please run the installation exe below before installing Remote Control licenses. Contact Wavelink Customer Service with any questions by filling out the online customer service form.

This product must be licensed before use. If you have not previously purchased a license you may request a free 30 day, 2 user trial license from Wavelink Sales by filling out the online sales form.


Smart Device RC Instructions:
Download: To download click the file link below. From the dialog that appears select the "Save As..." option and save the file to disk.

Install:
  1. Before installation please review the documentation. Install the server component on Windows 2008 R2 or 2012 R2. The desktop client can be installed on any supported version of Windows. On the Android devices install the Platform Service APK first, followed by the Streamer. Zebra and Honeywell Android devices, with Kitkat or above are currently supported. Other vendors will be added soon.
Smart Device RC Licensing:
Smart Device Remote Control requires a license to install. Please contact Wavelink Sales with the the email address of the account that will be used during the installation process.

This product must be licensed before use. If you have not previously purchased a license you may request one from Wavelink Sales
