ConnectPro - First and Best in Session Persistence
Many of you are using Wavelink Terminal Emulation (TE), as part of your management solution, but many users aren’t aware of a unique session persistence feature known as Wavelink ConnectPro. Formerly known as TermProxy, ConnectPro allows users to stay connected in the most demanding environments.
The ConnectPro server provides multiple options to ensure a complete failover environment and eliminates the potential for single point of failure. It eliminates lost information due to dropped connections because the ConnectPro server software maintains the session, even if the device goes to sleep or the connection is momentarily lost. Devices can roam freely in and out of RF coverage, survive a device reboot or battery change while maintaining application state, and seamlessly reconnect to the host and existing sessions. This is crucial to those business environments where users must maintain constant application connectivity or where RF coverage is poor.
Wavelink ConnectPro delivers enterprise level security standards used in industries that demand the highest security protocols, such as the financial and banking sectors. Wavelink ConnectPro uses SSL/TLS encryption from the client to the ConnectPro connection and supports SSH encryption from the ConnectPro session to the host application (if the host supports SSH), ensuring the highest level of security.
With a Web-based interface that’s easy to use, on demand administrators can easily disconnect a session, suspend a proxy service, set-up multiple proxy services, configure multiple host services, and set automatic ConnectPro server restart times. Furthermore, administrators have the ability to view client connection aborts and timeouts along with host connection aborts, timeouts, retries, and failures. Even the total number of bytes sent and received by a single proxy service can be viewed.

InfoLogix has selected Wavelink Speakeasy as the preferred voice solution for the company’s SAP customers. Adding voice to your SAP warehousing and inventory managementtransactions will allow hands-free operation that increases safety on the floor, maximizes workflow productivity and improves the accuracy of data input. You can add speech-to-text and/or text-to-speech functions easily to either your customized InfoLogix SAP transaction or one of the many defined and set transactions already created by InfoLogix.

Wavelink and Janam Enter Partnership
Janam recently selected Wavelink Avalanche to be the only device management solution pre-installed on Janam’s rugged mobile computers. Also included in this partnership, is Wavelink’s industry-standard Terminal Emulation™, including Wavelink’s Industrial Browser. Janam will ship its XG100 Series devices with Wavelink software already installed on the device and ready for activation by the customer.
