Wavelink Downloads

The ConnectPro Server allows you to avoid dropped connections and automatically reconnect by acting as an intermediary connection server between the client device and the host application server.

Instructions:
Download: To download click the file link below. From the dialog that appears select the "Save As..." option and save the file to disk.

Install:

1. Before installation please review this products User Guide, available for download below. Please note that installing this product on your system may override previous version installations.
2. After you have finished downloading the installation file, unzip the file to begin the installation process. Please note that Wavelink ConnectPro Server version 3.0 and above requires Wavelink 5.0 TN Clients or later.
3. The Linux ConnectPro distributions available in this section are compiled on the Linux 2.6 core. If you want support for other Linux distributions, contact us at customerservice@wavelink.com.

Create AS/400 ConnectPro Installation CD:
ConnectPro 3.00 or newer requires V5R2 or later of the OS/400. Telnet 5.x or newer is also required to use AS/400 ConnectPro version. YOU MUST CREATE A CD TO INSTALL THIS APPLICATION ON THE AS/400. YOU CANNOT JUST EXTRACT THE FILES AND RUN IT.

1. Download the contents in WL_TermProxy_OS400_312.zip.
2. Unzip the contents of the zip file to a temporary location.
3. Acquire a CD and a CD burning application such as Easy CD Creator.
4. Create a standard CD burning data project with the contents of the zip file. Use the CD label of TPCD. The zip file contains three files: qtemp, wterm, wtpinst. Note: These should be the only files on the CD. There should not be any other files or folders. These files should reside in the root of the CD. These files have no extensions.
5. Insert the new CD into your AS/400 optical drive.
6. Sign-on with a user profile that has Security Officer authority.
7. Type LODRUN and press F4.
8. Enter the optical drive resource (Example: OPT01), enter / for the Directory, and then press the Enter key.
9. Follow the installation instructions.

This product does not require any external licensing for use or demo purposes.
