Customized Datalogic Mobile device skins for Avalanche Remote Control
Empower your administrators to remote control any Datalogic Mobile device with one of several available device skins.
Datalogic Mobile device skins are available through Avalanche Remote Control and are easy to install. If you don't already have Avalanche Remote Control as part of your Avalanche solution you must purchase an Avalanche Remote Control license through your Datalogic Mobile sales representative. The Avalanche Remote Control software package is an easy upload via the Wavelink website and is then available as part of your Avalanche console.
Follow these simple steps to customize Avalanche Remote Control for your Datalogic Mobile
device(s):
- In your Avalanche console select "Software Profiles".
- If you are running Avalanche Site Edition the default profile contains the Remote Control software package.
- Select the Remote Control software package and use the configure option. This will open the "Configure Software Package" screen.
- Once the screen is open, select "Keyboard Map Editor" and click ok. The Keyboard Map Editor will automatically open.
- Using the Keyboard Map Editor screen select the "Skin Menu" and the "Download from web option".
- A "Skins Download" screen will open, click on the "Connect" link. The window will now display a list of skins that are available for download.
- Select the appropriate Datalogic Mobile device screen for download.
